Hello guys. New to this tech and community. I appreciate your patience. Very thankful for communities like this. As stated above, very disappointing. Purchased in Oct 24, just unboxed recently to practice with this unit combo and solar panel is not only NOT charging the power station… its draining it. Have done nothing to it, adjusted no dynamics of it (can’t even see how you could). Opened a ticket with Bluetti. Can anyone suggest what I am dealing with here. Now without a solar power source, frustrating. So many thanks for any consideration.
Hi @Northpower, We would like to know what the weather was like during solar charging and whether adjusting the angle of the solar panels helped.
Kindly notice some factors that affect the rate of charging when using solar panels.
a. The amount of sunlight
b. The conversion rate of solar panels
c. The angle you place the solar panel
d. The length of the solar cable

I have heard back that your folks are putting me in touch with the amazon service at Bluetti department and I am waiting to hear back from them.
As mentioned… I purchased a Bluetti EB3A and the Bluetti recommended solar panel to go with this, the PV120D.
Based on your notes below… I understand that some of those dynamics MAY effect the charging capability or dynamics but THE UNIT IS NOT CHARGING AT ALL THROUGH THE SOLAR PANELS AND IT IS DRAINING THE BATTER WHILE CHARGING.
Sunlight has been good.
We have had the solar panels in both the triangle and fully open position in direct sunlight.
The conversion rate is standard spec to this unit.
We are using the standard cable that was provided.
