EB3A Overload - A001 Error

I have attempted to use my EB3A as a UPS battery backup (AC pass-thru) for my NAS drive. But the unit shuts down AC power and gives the “overload” - A001 Error periodically. I have to manually check, restart the EB3A and restart my NAS. ECO mode is disabled.

For the last couple of days, I’ve tried testing it with just a laptop connected. I am getting the same A001 Error. The laptop is in hibernate mode, so it is not drawing much power if any at all. The NAS does not draw a lot of power either. It seems the AC power is shutoff, and the laptop is drawing from the battery power in UPS mode only.

I have the latest firmware available to me through the app. But I’ve seen other discussions that there is a newer firmware upgrade that can be pushed to solve this problem. Can you please provide that upgrade for my unit?

Hi @klambert65, yes, it is, we have a new firmware could resolve this problem.
We have applied to upgrade yourfirmware to our IT department.
They will push the latest version of firmware to your machine in 24 hours. Please upgrade it tomorrow.
Please do not load any device when upgrading it.
Please let us know if it works.

Thank you! I applied the new firmware, and it has been working for over a week now. This is resolved.
