Hello,
I got an error message A005 Inverter Output Fault on my EB3A SN EB3A2236001927295. It won’t charge anymore although plugged in the wall outlet and shows OVERLOAD error on display.
Could you kindly provide me support on this issue?
Thanks and best regards,
Maurizio
Hi @mrusso70, We would like to know if your EB3A was powering any devices when the issue occurred. What was their total rated power? We are concerned that the load may have been too high, exceeding the EB3A’s capacity.
We suggest disconnecting all loads and restarting the machine. Does this resolve the issue? You could also try connecting a low-power device to see if it works normally.
Hi, thanks for your reply.
I have been using my EB3A as a UPS only for my Starlink router and a Fritzbox repeater connected to it, for over a year now. I can’t say what the total rated power was but, given the type of equipment, I think it is quite below what an EB3A should be able to support (and actually supported for a long time).
I already tried to disconnect all loads and restart the machine several times but it doesn’t solve the issue (the error message is still there and the EB3A doesn’t charge anymore plugged to the wall outlet).
Any further suggestion ?
Many thanks and best regards
Hi @mrusso70, Based on what you previously mentioned, if the EB3A still shows A005 and Overload errors with no load connected, then unfortunately a firmware upgrade may not resolve the issue.
We recommend contacting customer service to arrange for a repair. You can send me your order number and email via private message, and I will forward this information to the appropriate customer service team.
Hi,
thank you so much for your support. I’ve already contacted customer service receiving instructions for the next steps.
Best regards !
