Does anyone know how/why my EB3A will not take a charge from the DC input? I have verified that the cord works with my other bluetti 500 just fine for DC solar input and DC input from the car however it will not charge on the EB3A - the AC works but frankly if the DC input wont work the power station is not suitable. TIA for any help that can be offered.
Hi @Steven Confino, We would like to confirm more details about this issue. When you mentioned that the EB3A cannot be charged via DC, but the DC charging cable can charge the Bluetti 500, we’re unsure which model you’re referring to—do you mean the AC500?
Please note that the car charging cable and solar charging cable for the EB3A are different, and they are also not compatible with the DC charging cable for the AC500. Please make sure you are using the correct cable.
Additionally, when using solar charging, could you let us know the specific model of the solar panel you’re using, its open-circuit voltage (VOC), and how you have connected these solar panels?
