I just received the Bluetti EB3A today and I tried to successfully use the wireless charger and next I wanted to charge the EB3A using the wall cable it came with. It was at about 34% from factory and when I connected the cable it went into Short Overload and now shows all 0’s(input, output, charge etc).
I downloaded the app afterwards and it also shows 0% on all.
Is there any quickfix for this, or even a reason it happened? The outlet I connected the cable to had other devices connected with no problems.
Hi @Caesar, During the long sea transportation and storage period, the battery will gradually discharge automatically. We are concerned that this EB3A has been over-discharged. Please do not continue to use it. Instead, remove all loads first and then charge it.
Has this been helpful? We recommend charging it for a longer time before using it. If AC charging is ineffective, please test using vehicle charging or solar charging.
If the problem is not resolved, please feel free to contact us at any time.
The fact that I can connect via BT to the Power station, that it went to 0% the second I plugged the charging cable and the fact that it shows A81 message as soon as I connect it to the grid tells me this is beyond just discharged.
Unfortunately I don’t have a solar panel or other 12v output for it(tried charging it 2-30minutes with the car charging cable). I will let it plugged in to the grid but I don’t have high hopes.
Another minor detail is that the grid icon on the app remains green, plugged in or not, while the 12v is green only when I plug it in.
