EB200 Display rotated

Hello, The last time I turned it on, the display rotated. Any button that is visible works fine. How can I solve the problem?

Hi @Benimi, We are concerned that the ribbon cable connecting the screen might be loose. This could affect the display but would not impact the charging and discharging performance.

Since the EB200 is an earlier model, we assume that this unit may be out of warranty. Is that the case?

Please let us know your general location so we can check if there is a repair facility nearby that can assist you.

Unfortunately, the warranty has expired. I live in Hungary. In the city of Nagykanizsa.

Hi @Benimi, I am sorry for the inconvenience.
We would like to know if restarting helps.
If not, unfortunately, we may not have a solution at this moment.

Restarting doesn’t help. Would it help if I replaced the display?

Hi @Benimi, I am afraid the screen is faulty.
But since this model has been out of production for a long time, we can’t provide the replacement screen right now.

Hello, I ordered an identical type of display and I would need the firmware.

Hi @Benimi, The EB200 is an earlier model and, at that time, did not support the Bluetti app, which means it also does not support firmware upgrades.
We recommend that you directly install the screen. Would this be helpful?

Yes. That would be perfect. Can I have the files? Thank you very much.

Hi @Benimi, We have consulted the maintenance department regarding this matter, and they informed me that there is no guidance document for the EB200.
I am sorry that we couldn’t help you.

I can’t copy the files from the old display to the new display?

Hi @Benimi, We do not believe that any files are stored on the screen.
We were concerned that you might not know how to disassemble and install the screen, hence we sought guidance documents but were unsuccessful.

I have already removed the display. I have the necessary knowledge for it. These are Dwin displays, as long as they can operate independently using the firmware on them. This is how they send the data for further operation. I would need this firmware.

This very expensive device is not even 4 years old. And I only used it on vacation. Should I throw it away now because of such a small defect?
