Does Elite 10 have pure sine wave output?

The specs don’t say, so I wanted to be sure. Thanks.

Added: it would be nice if these units supported USB PD input for charging from USB. Maybe the larger models in future versions could even have 240W USB PD in and out.

All Bluetti power stations have clean pure sine wave inverted AC power output.

Thanks, I hadn’t seen any tests specifically about the Elite 10 and for some reason, every cig lighter inverter I’ve ever seen is MSW. If you’re sure about the 10 then that’s good to know.

I’m confused by your response mentioning cig plug inverters, so I’ll explain.

  1. An inverter changes DC battery power to AC voltage. How this is done can be PSW or on cheaper inverters MSW. In general power stations use PSW.
  2. A DC power supply from an AC source is not an inverter. It is a Transformer - Rectifier, which transforms AC voltage to a low DC voltage. In this instance PSW and MSW are not terms used. The rectification in years gone by and still today was done by a string of 4 “Bridge Diodes” (BD), this then turns the “transformed” low voltage AC current into DC, VA. Once Transformed to 12V the current is still AC until it passes through the BD.
  3. The Bluetti cig socket is powered from the power station battery. In the Elite 100, battery voltage is 51 to 52V, so the cig socket 12.8VDC is only transformed DC to DC, not rectified and has no inverter connection.

As an aside, I have a 150W PSW inverter (Projecta Brand here in AU) it came with a cig plug for 12V input which is 15 amps (actually nearer 17A) at 12V to give 150W of AC power output. The first thing I did was cut the cig plug off and replace with 50A Anderson as it handles the load better and I power it from a spare battery or auxilliary battery, as vehicle cig sockets are generally rated to 10A only. Hope that explains Paul.
