Does 0 soc really mean 0 soc?

When the soc reads 0% on the screen of a Bluetti EB 55 or Bluetti AC 180 are the batteries really fully discharged or have they really been discharged to around 90% of their capacity to protect the batteries?

Hi @Jbass

the SoC of “0” means that it reached the configured lowest value of voltage.

In reality, there is around 10% left in the battery, to protect it from deep discharge.

Thanks, Erik. That is exactly the information I was looking for.

Sure, glad that information helped you!

On a side note, Bluetti started including a sticker on the B300s, to NOT let it go below 5%, which as you know is needed for battery calibration. Of course, that is something you shouldn’t need to do too often. The default for PV Priority Mode is 30%.
