Hi all,
I recently bought a PV350 from an online retailer, but they actually sent me a PV350S. The site I bought it from doesn’t mention PV350S anywhere in the text and the pictures show the PV350. The legs are metal instead of the kick stands I was expecting.
If it performs worse I will send it back, so I’m wondering if it’s the same panel with slight cosmetic differences, or if there’s any difference in performance between the two panels. I can’t find any official information about it in English. Here’s the panel on the Japanese site: https://www.bluetti.jp/products/bluetti-pv350s
Any info would be super useful.
Cheers
Likely their marketing team did not update the website to reflect their current material. I bought a PV350 as well from Outbound Power for just $400 and the one I received was a PV350L, but the pictures showed the gen 1 PV350 model with the velcro straps. The older model has 4 legs, while the new one has 3. In my opinion a downgrade because the Gen 1 was a lot easier and stable to set up, and the output is worse. I have both the Gen 1 and Gen 2. On my AC180 I can get 370-380W easily on the Gen 1, while the Gen 2 is lucky to give me 275-280W, a 100W loss.
The main difference between PV350 and PV350S is the supplier and manufacturing process, the rest of the specs are not very different.
In general, the S or D series with a letter suffix will cost slightly more than the regular numeric series;
