Detailed Patch Notes for Modules like BMS, IoT etc

Dear Community,

i think a lot of people (including me) are not sure to install updates from the Bluetti App for our devices because we didnt know what get fixed and what other problems may occur after updating to the newest Version of the BMS for example.

Is there a public site where i can see which versions for a module are published, what they are fixing and maybe what issues can happen?

I think this would be a great addition. So people only need to update a certain module if it fixes an error they really had. Every Update comes with a risk of making something unusable.

Kind Regards

Erik

This is a very good point and has been requested numerous times before.

We are very sorry that BLUETTI cannot provide a detailed update log.
System updates are generally bug updates or add new features, and in general are pushed to improve the user experience.

Any reason why BLUETTI cannot do this? Don’t the firmware programmers keep logs of the changes they make to the software?

We will feedback on the suggestion to the technical team, and hopefully the update log will be shown in the future.

Hi,

Wanted to revive this conversation. If this is still not a thing, it would be beneficial to provide feedback in the release notes of the firmware released. Any KNOWN bugs resolved would be nice. Anyways, thanks for a great product! Really putting my the use to my AC180 here in Florida after Milton!

I also have a question about this.

Many updates are created specifically for a customer and only transferred to their device.

What happens if there is a new, official update for this device later?

Will the previous one be overwritten, or will the newer one not be displayed at all?

Will this cause confusion

I would be happy to receive an answer from Bluetti.

You can ask the support for certain patch notes. But they arent public

Kannst du das genauer erläutern?
Das beantwortet meine Frage nicht.

With new official firmware, if the official firmware version number is higher than that of the targeted push, users can still receive the official firmware push normally and the original firmware will be overwritten after the upgrade is completed.
