I’d love to see more control over charging source, and conditions, such as:
Ability to prioritize charging source.
Do things like:
with solar and grid plugged in,
if at or above xx% SoC, and no solar, do not charge.
if solar available, always charge
Various combinations thereof.
At the very least, let me prioritize solar over grid with a simple checkbox.
Ideally, I want my AC180, or the next unit, to
run on charge from 3am until solar comes up,
then charge mostly using solar, all day,
then charge to 100% from grid after solar is gone ( or a time , like 9 PM)
Various abilities to control this, without having EVERY POSSIBILITY would be nice.
I have an excess of solar and a lack of battery.
Using up more solar would be great.
@rhousedorf@TheQuickFox Please open a new topic and use the hashtag #DesignTheNextBLUETTI according to the rules, if you wanna participate in this event
What I would find helpful is upgrades to device, firmware and Bluetti app to receive real time and statistical information on voltage and current delivery to the Bluetti power station. This would help users with panel setup and wiring options. More advanced features on the app like a max PV panel input feature (similar to max grid input) would be helpful for parallel wiring options. #DesignTheNextBluetti
For Christmas this year, I’m hoping that santa and rudolf bring us into 2025 with some of the different color options that @BLUETTI use to offer! The infamous “bluetti blue” of the OG EB150/EB180/EB240 would also be real sweet to see!!
A revamped ac180(s?) model would be stellar to see featuring dual xt60 mppt solar inputs, a couple 5521 barrel plugs, a higher amp 12v/30a DC output, dual expansion ports for adding capacity on demand, and the addition of a wireless charger on top (to keep my hot cocoa warm)
The AC180 is probably one of the best all around units on the market and with the enhancements of the enhanced higher solar inputs, expansion ability, and higher amp DC output, it would truly hit all the basis in my opinion.
The #DesignTheNextBLUETTI campaign has come to an end, during which we received many creative and innovative design submissions.
We’re much appreciated to every participant for their contributions to this campaign! The winners will be announced next week, so stay tuned!
Loving looking through all the great ideas that have been posted on the site some fantastic ideas have to say it was hard to redesign something that’s almost perfect. Fairly brightened up the dark and gloomy days over the past month. Thank you team bluetti
