charging problem

my new ps72 will not stop charging even after overnight on the charger. also, the fan stays on all that time. also, the panel light ALWAYS turns off after 15 seconds. can i fix this or is it a return?

Hi @reisjdmd, We would like to know the current battery level of the PS72.
We recommend recalibrating it first. Please follow the steps below to recalibrate it:

  1. Please discharge all the power (charge AC & DC appliances with the power station) until the SOC is 0%, turn off the machine, and leave it for 3 hours till it cools down.
  2. Please charge it again, please do not load any device when charging it, and do not interrupt it while charging.

You can click this link for reference.

Please let us know if it does help.
If not, please contact us for further service.

As for the panel light turning off after 15 seconds, this is normal designed to save power.

Hi @reisjdmd ,
Congratulations on owning a PS72
I’ve had mine about 18 months and found it very reliable.
Re your questions: Do you mean that after the charge reaches 100% you are leaving the charger plugged in and the PS72 periodically starts to charge again? If so, this is normal. I unplug mine after charging to 100%. I also have the EB70, a very similar model, which does exactly the same.
The fan will also be on all of the time, at varying speed / loudness during all of the charging to cool the battery. This is normal on the PS72. The fan noise is more noticeable on the older model Bluettis. If you leave it plugged in fully charged the fan should go quiet, then come back on for a short time when it does a little top up charge, then go quiet again and so on. The light on the charger brick will be red when charging and green when the PS72 is full. When plugged in / charging you will also be hearing the fan in the charging brick, as this has its own separate fan. Have you tried running some low wattage items ? What was the fan’s behaviour then?
The screen will turn off after a short time, pressing any button will turn it back on. This is designed to save energy. As the PS72 is an older, non-app model, there is no way to change that.
