charging after a completely being empty

My bluetti 200ac has been left in my garage over winter and is completely flat (empty)
The problem is when i plug the charger in and turn on the power bank it comes to life for a second and then turns off , my question is will it continue to charge or because it turns off will that stop the charge going into the Battery ?

Not a good situation. Even if left for 6 months the battery will contain a significant state of charge if stored according the storage guidelines. I have stored by AC200 at 100% SOC since new and have not used it for up to 5 months and it still contained almost all the charge. That was however at room temperature. If you did not fully turn the ac200 off ( happens way too many times) and merely had the display in standby by not completing the long several second press of the power button, the AC200 will drain the battery in about three to four days. Once 0% SOC is reached the battery will continue to drain off any remaining power until the battery mgt. system can no longer function. When this state is reached, the unit will not charge because a functioning battery mgt system is required for the charge operation.

I have also seen some success with using the 12 volt car charger for several hours to bring the voltage up to the minimum BMS operational voltage. Once this is reached you can AC charge as normal. But…if your unit has sat months in a harsh environment it may be unrecoverable from and end user standpoint. The service center may be able to charge the battery directly but that would depend on the battery not being damaged.
