Hi new to the forum. Iam uk based. I have installed the charger 2 in a renault trafic. It charges an ecoflow delta. All appears ok. However if we have sufficient solar i have to switch it on via the app rather than it switching on automatically. Should this be the case? Could mean i am missing several hours of this precious commodity.

I’ve just got my charger 2 and I have a AC200max. I upgraded from the charger 1 because the YouTubers said that you can have both solar and alternator charging at the same time with my power station, which isn’t possible with the charger 1 or the AC200max with it only having one solar input. I plugged the power station into the CHG+ and solar in the PV+, however I had the same issue as you, the charger 2 goes to sleep at night and turns itself off completely. I have rang support and they said the charger 1 is powered from the starter battery so if the engine isn’t running it will turn off. So basically you can only get solar if the engine is running is what he said. Absolutely unreal!!
I’ve also just spent all evening re-building parts of my Renault traffic interior so I could use the bi-directional cable so I can plug the solar directly into the power station to find out that now I can’t reduce the voltage to lower the strain on the alternator. It looks like only the CHG allows it. What a mess!!!
