Has anyone successfully used a Charger 1 with a 2026 Tesla MY 16V battery?
Not yet widely confirmed most reports say the Charger 1 isn’t compatible with the 2026 Tesla Model Y 16V battery system so far.
Charger 1 does work hooked to the red terminal in the frunk area up near the windshield. At full boost of 54V the Tesla LV battery looses voltage. The DC-DC converter doesn’t seem to keep up recharging the Tesla LV battery.
At boost of 25V produces 200W into the Bluetti Apex 300 Solar Battery and the Tesla LV holds @14.8V.
It’s important to keep Assessories On in the Charging Panel when pulling directly from the battery so the DC-DC converter stays on to replenish the LV Battery. Setting Charger 1 to 30V gives the AP300 300W and does not stress the LV circuit.
