Some people are recommending to add a 60 amp fuse to the positive wire at the battery connection, is this useful?
The circuit breaker of the C1 is near it, not the source. This means if you run the cable from a start battery, thru the firewall, under door sills to the rear of the vehicle, that cable has no protection in the event of cable damage. This can and likely will start a fire if it shorts.
My recommendation, along with many others, is install a 60A heavy duty fuse as near to the start battery as possible. Easy to get to, in case it does blow and needs replacement.
Then just use the circuit breaker to turn the C1 on and off to isolate if working on cables and in fact when plugging in a power station just to be safe.
