Just received my EB3A a while ago. When I first powered it up, it shows me 56% charge. As I was testing all the ports if they are working, suddenly the charge dropped from 56 to 30 percent without me charging anything. Also, when I charged the unit for the first time, from 30 percent to 100 percent the process took only 40 minutes. That was too fast I think. Can someone enlighten me on this? Thank you.
@FM3 it sounds as though the unit BMS needs to be recalibrated. To do this, drain the EB3A with a draw connected until it shuts down, not just showing 0%. Then do a full uninterrupted recharge from AC with the outputs turned off and nothing else connected. This will usually fix the issue. Make sure you recharge ASAP after the unit is drained and shuts down.
Once you have recharged, check for any firmware updates in the App.
