Hi all. I just got a couple of Apex 300’s and a B300K for each as well as the A1 box and the Solar 4K. I can’t seem to get the Solar 4K to light up. I have tried it with my AC300 and nothing happens and with both the Apex 300’s. I checked and double checked the wiring and it all seems like the specs in the manual, although my AC 300 connects the solar neg to pos on the AC 300, the manual for the SolarX 4K says solar neg to SolarX 4K neg and pos to pos. That seems odd to me, but I’ve never had an external solar controller before. I also found the SolarX 4K on the app, but when I go to click on it, nothing happens. Does anyone have any ideas for me to try?
I have two of the SolarX 4k. First one works fine but needs around 150 volts to start. My second one will not start for some reason (just got it). Maybe there is a bad batch out there … not sure.
Hey, thanks for the reply. Sorry to hear about one of yours not working. I had about 240 voc hooked up to mine, without any reaction, so it appears that my purchase of two Apex 300’s and the Solar X was a waste of money, as all of them together don’t do what my old AC300 will do with the 150 voc capability. The Apex300’s just sit on my garage floor, of no use to me. I really wish I could have got another AC300, but they apparently quit making them. It would be nice if Bluetti would read this and send me a working solar X 4K. Anyway, good luck with your bad one.
