After a couple of months working fine, I suddenly cant login anymore on the App to see my device. An offline connection can be esthablished and the AC180 is just doing fine.
Message: after a long login wait the app cant find a host/server.
Hi @Peterm have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling that will install the latest version if there is any new ones. Then raving it to your AC180 hope that fixes it.
Hi @Peterm, Please refer to the suggestions from @Selfmadestrom and @Ktt to try using another phone, or reinstall the app, restart Bluetooth, and try again. Does this help?
Additionally, please provide us with the SN code of your AC180 so that we can further investigate.
Yes I have deleted App (and Data), reinstalled, restarted Bluetooth, and I still get the message: ‘communication timed out, please try again’. However, I did succeed in establishing an offline connection via Bluetooth: I can see/use the dashboard.
So, halfway. Is this a known issue with iPhone users?
Ah, on mobile (outside) it still relies on direct the Bluetooth connection rather than via the cloud: Bluetooth device not found, please get closer to the device…
Hi @Peterm, I’m glad to hear that the issue was resolved after turning off the VPN.
Yes, the AC180 is a small model that only supports a Bluetooth connection and does not have Wi-Fi connectivity.
Thanks again to @Selfmadestrom and @Ktt for their attention and kind advice on this matter.
