I’m in hurricane recovery here in the mountains of western NC. My house still has no power, and i’ve been relying on my new AC500 w/ 1 B300s & 1 B300k. I also own the AC180, which i can haul back to where i’m sleeping to charge due to it’s lighter weight. The AC500 has 800w of panels, but cloudy days and remaining leaves have slowly drained my batteries down to 15-20%. Can i plug the ac cord of the AC500 into the AC180 and top the batteries off without damaging any of my components? Thanks!
Yes, you can. By default, the ac500 is limited to 15A, which gives a power consumption of 15Ax110v =1650w.
Your ac180 can give up to 1800W with the ac output sockets, so it works.
However, if you’ve unlocked the initial current limitation to recharge your ac500 and b300(k and s) faster, you’ll need to set the max current to 15A.
You can also recharge the AC500 via one of the solar inputs, connected to the AC180 cigarette lighter output, but this will be much slower (about 100 w)… But perhaps with better efficiency
hope it goes well for you !

Thank you. This will help me quite a bit!
