Can I charge an AC180 off of a 600 watt Inverter?

I have a 600 watt inverter driven by a 12V/70A upfitters power line and an ignition driven relay. Can I use the AC180 AC cable and plug into this inverter and get 600 watt charging?

PS. I am concerned with what happens when the AC180 is in standard or turbo charge mode and can pull more than 600 watts? Heck, even what happens if it just pulls 600 watts for a few hours.

Hi @gjenkins19, you would need a pure sine inverter and set the AC180 to Silent Charge Mode to have any chance of this working from a 600 watt inverter. Standard and Turbo will attempt to draw too much and produce an error.

Thank you, Erebus. I guess my other option is the Charger 1 … but I don’t like the idea of having to unplug solar to use it.
