Button Behaviour on AC180 Anti-tamper?

Hi, I have recently purchased an AC180p, I also have an AC50B. Is there any way to ‘lock’ or change the action of the front panel buttons to prevent tapering or accidental operation?

On the AC50B if the screen is off pressing any button turn the screen back on with no operational effect. ie the inverter or DC output is not effected when you press it… (the buttons are also much firmer on the AC50B!)
On the AC180 if the screen is off and you press the AC or DC output button the output is immediately switched off! making it extremely vulnerable to accidently power off’s.

Is there a way you can lock the front panel or change the operation of the buttons to make it more robust? I know other makes let you set the device up in the app and lock the panel out to prevent accidental switch off’s or tampering which would be amazing and make the unit far better!

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Yeoer
The tech team replicated the AC180’s behavior:
When the screen is off, pressing the output button only wakes the screen and does not directly turn off the output. If the output turns off immediately, there might be an issue. Would you mind sending us a video for further confirmation?

Please the videos linked.

Note, if both outputs are active only the output of the button pressed is effected. Also having load on the output does not effect it, ie it still turns off.

@Yeoer Thanks for the video and description, the tech team has confirmed that the AC180 is fine in this case.
Team has also fed back your suggestions and requirements to the product department and it is currently in a pending evaluation status. :handshake:

Hi, @BLUETTI
I recently just got my AC180 and also find the buttons single press ON/OFF function to be prone to accidental pressing.
When turning the unit ON, a single press of the POWER button is sufficient. However, when turning the unit OFF, you need to long press/hold the POWER button.

I believe the POWER, AC and DC buttons should be long press/hold to activate and deactivate, is this something that can be updated to be optional in the settings?

Thanks!
Dale.
