What Buletti Power Station(s) is/are capable of running a freezer or refrigerator during a power outage?
The consumption data is usually located on the inside of the refrigerator. You can roughly calculate how long the refrigerator stays on when the power goes out: P=120Volt*2Ampère=240Watt . If the compressor runs 8 hours a day, 1920 watts. So 1 day with 2000 Watt
First thing you need to do is figure out how much power does the appliance draw (amps x volts = watts). This information is usually found on a manufacturer label somewhere on the device. My Frigidaire states 3.3 amps and 115 volts or about 380 watts. Another way to go would be with a kill-o-watt meter. That will show the watts it’s pulling and kilowatt hours used over time. Then you can determine the power station that suits your needs. So for mine, I’d figure 380 running watts, half of that since it cuts off and on as needed to cool, with maybe double that as a surge (start-up). So I roughly need a 800 watt surge and 200w/hr average power consumption (these numbers are most likely more than what I’d actually need but better safe than sorry). For me, I’d go with the AC60 with one or two B80 expansion batteries or maybe an AC180. Either of those would get me through a short term outage, add solar panels to charge the power station while running your appliance for longer term outages.
If it’s an old model Fridge it may have a hard startup compressor that draws a large amount of current during the first minute or so. New, modern Fridge units have built in soft start, which also helps on energy savings. If your lights flicker or dim during compressor startup, you’ll need to get a soft start kit, or a new Fridge.

Some would buy a small gas generator thinking it would do the trick, only to find that when the compressor started up the generator would trip it’s own circuit breaker, even though theoretically it had enough wattage. Honda started designing their generators like the eu2000i to handle the startup load.

Like someone else here said, get a Kill-a-watt meter to see what you’re dealing with. As for battery runtime, the meter will store KWH over time as the Fridge does not draw the same amount of wattage all the time. You should let it run a full day or so to get an accurate reading. (Write down the readings before you unplug it as it might lose the info.)
I am testing my garage freezer today. It started with compressor on at 320 watts. It then settled down to 78 watts. It has been working for 6 hours and it appears I will get at least another 4 hours
What size [make/model] of Bluetti? Thanks!!
