Bluetty AC180P The fans are not working well after update

@BLUETTI_CARE
Good afternoon
My station ID is AC180P2349000832336
ARM - v2089.04
DSP - v2088.04
BMS - v1039.01

Please revert me to the previous version for ARM.

The station has been working perfectly for the last year.
I wanted to set a password for the station, but there was no such option in the app. I thought I needed to update ARM.
But that was a mistake.

After the update, I couldn’t set a password, and I also had a problem with the fans.
The problem is that at night there’s a 20W load, but the station turns on the fans at maximum—this will affect my family at night.
This problem didn’t exist before the update.

Please send me a request for the previous version of ARM.

Hi @Alex3, Would you like to roll back the firmware of your AC180P to ARM v2089.03? We have submitted the request for the firmware rollback. If the technical department still has the original firmware available, the rollback will be completed within 24 hours.
Please proceed with the update tomorrow.

@BLUETTI_CARE
Hello
I still haven’t received the rollback update.
Am I correct in assuming that a rollback isn’t possible?

  • Question: How do I set a password for my station using the Bluetti app (I downloaded the latest version of the program)?

Hi @Alex3, Yes, I have checked with the Technical Department, and they informed me that the initial files are no longer available—therefore, it is currently not possible to roll back the firmware. Additionally, this is unnecessary as it would not resolve the fan issue.
If you cannot find the option to set a password, it indicates that your hardware batch does not support this feature.

@BLUETTI_CARE

My friend has the same station.
His ID AC180P2443001296730
Why can he set a password, but I can’t?

In this screenshot I show that both stations are near me.

And here I show that his Bluetooth AC180P is asking for a password.

Hi @Alex3, This is dependent on the production batch.
As the Bluetooth password feature was developed subsequently, only devices manufactured in the new batches are equipped with this built-in function.
For AC180P units from older batches, this feature cannot be activated via software upgrades due to hardware constraints.

@BLUETTI_CARE should I roll back my firmware? At low loads 50w fans do much more noise than previous firmware. AC180P2432000031041

IOT v9046.04
ARM V2125.05
DSP V2126.04
BMS V1048.05

Any advice would be appreciated! Thx

Hi @Boristheblade, we don’t think this will have much impact. However, we will follow your request and apply to roll you back to the original firmware.
If the original firmware is available, they will complete the push within 24 hours.
We have temporarily named the old firmware v99. Please upgrade to it only once.
Let us know once the upgrade is successful, and we will disable the update prompt to avoid further disturbance.
We hope everything goes smoothly.

Thx mate, I upgraded already. Will test and make a reply shortly.

@BLUETTI_CARE after 1day of tests the speed of fans now really much better (smoother). I dont know why, but station became silent with low power load. I will do more tests on weekend. Thx for Your Help. I really apriciate Your time.

The latest version of arm was V2125.05. at this version fan problem exists in my station. now I have V2125.03 and this is pretty good. Any problem for now. In bluetti app I was proposed to update from V2125.03 to V2125.04. should I do that? Or maybe ignore ?

Hi @Boristheblade, thank you for your feedback.
Yes, you only need to upgrade once. We have applied to remove the upgrade prompt for you; you can ignore it for now.
