Curious if anyone has used the Bluetti trade-in program found in the mobile phone APP? I’ve just recently posted a separate thread about an AC180 problem I’m facing, and if it cannot be resolved, I’ve considered trading-in/up. My question is that the trade in options listed(specifically the expansion batteries - both listed; B300 and B300s have been discontinued). Would my trade-in value automatically apply for the B300K even though its not formally listed? Just trying to explore all my options ahead of time. Thanks!
I have forwarded this to the @BLUETTI_CARE team, and you can expect a response within 24 hours.
Regarding the trade-in program you mentioned on BLUETTI APP, the operating mode allows old devices to exchange for coupons based on their ratings. However, please ensure that the device is functioning properly, as you cannot receive coupons if it is not working correctly. Therefore, I recommend that you contact the support team first.
Hi @JP911, Yes, we just replied to your post about the AC180 being unable to charge via DC.
Please note that the Trade-in program does not support upgrading the battery pack using the power station.
Additionally, if the power station is faulty, it does not meet the Trade-in rules. It is necessary to confirm that it is fully functional before proceeding with the Trade-in.
I guess my next question is then - if I can ge the unit warrantied, will it have to ship out to be fixed, shipped back to me and then shipped out again for the Bluetti trade-in program?
Hi @JP911, As we mentioned earlier, the power station can not be upgraded to be a battery. Could you tell us which model you want to upgrade?
Generally speaking, customers need to have the device repaired first before arranging for an upgrade. However, this is indeed quite troublesome and will waste a lot of time.
Please send me a message with the specific order information, and then we will check if we can simplify the process for you.
“The power station cannot be upgrade to a battery” statement completely contradicts the policy’s stated on the Bluetti App, in that when a trade-in coupon(credit) is issued, it can be used for ANYTHING in the Bluetti store. I did multiple screen shots of that statement. So in theory - if I was to receive full credit for my AC180 on trade-in, I could use the coupon(credit) to supplement the purchase price a B300K battery.
Hi @JP911, We just contacted the app manager again and confirmed that this is a misunderstanding.
The current situation that battery packs are not included in the trade-in program means that we do not recycle battery packs at present.
However, you can return the AC180 to get a voucher, and then use the voucher to purchase the B300K.
