Dear @BLUETTI and @BLUETTI_CARE!
I again kindly ask you for your help, advice and support.
This night Bluetti was discharged to zero. Since it is connected to feed all apartment, it always starts to charge automatically when electricity is back. Today it didn’t. It is turned off and I cannot activate it in any possible way (by pressing AC+PV actually, since it’s the only way I know). I also cannot connect to it via app just to see its software versions for you. I’ve read something about BMS mode - may it be the case and if yes, how can it reset it? The station is used in Kyiv (Ukraine), so you may imagine the urgency of its restoration)))))))) Thank you!
From my previous post:
Bluetti Premium 100 V2
S/N PR100V22528001796797
Last available software (in October):
IoT v8024.11
ARM v2186.09>v2186.15 (no download button or any other option to download, photo below)
DSP v2200.08>v2200.14
BMS v1083.07
But then you’ve pushed a software update to my device due to the issues described here
I would kindly appreciate any clues, support and hints to restore its operation asap. Maybe some hidden button or whatever…
Just an update - the problem is solved. We connected the station via XT60 cable to the car and kept it charging for about 10 minutes at 12V. Although it still didn’t turn on, when we brought it home and connected to the ordinary socket, it woke up with 0% charge and started charging. God bless Bluetti))))) I guess charging for a while at 12V gave it a little push (charge), which let it start charging in a normal ordinary mode)
@batlena You did the right thing. In this situation, charging via the XT60 can help. Another tip: when the battery reaches 85-90% charge, use the app to manually charge the battery. Set the charging current to 1A. Charge the charging station without a load. This will allow the battery cells to better balance at the end of the charge. Perform this procedure as a preventative measure every time the battery is fully discharged and at least once a week during normal use.
I have a very similar issue with my Bluetti, but with an additional problem.
My unit periodically goes into a kind of deep sleep or shutdown state and then does not wake up for a long time. During this period it does not respond to:
the power button or any button combinations,
charging from the grid,
and it is impossible to connect to the device via the app.
After 2–3 days, the station can usually be turned on using the power button, but not immediately after it goes into this sleep state. As soon as it enters this state again, the same problem repeats. This makes the device unreliable for regular use.
I suspect this behavior may be related to BMS or firmware logic. However, there is no option to update the firmware in my app — I do not see any update buttons at all.
Therefore, I kindly ask you to push or enable a firmware update for my device, or advise on how this issue can be permanently resolved.
Thank you in advance for your support and assistance.

One creative solution I thought of was investing into a smart power strip/surge protector that lets you independently control each port. The power strip should be capable of energy monitoring or alerting which allows you to know the last time the Bluetti was “calibrated”. You could dedicate a port to each power station you had. For example I could say Port #1 is my Bluetti AC180, Port #2 is my Bluetti Elite 100 V2, etc. The power strip should have scheduling capability so you can turn it off for a duration of time to allow the battery cells to reach equilibrium before turning back on to charge the unit back up. You can look back at your log to know the last time you calibrated your battery. Not sure if anything like this exists. I know some power strips do a basic 7 day/30 day log, but whether you can get them to send you an email notification or generate a syslog report to your server where you can pull that information would be more useful. So the smart switch essentially lets the battery cool down AFTER its discharged to reach equilibrium, and then logs that data to some source so you can see the last time you calibrated the unit.
First, I want to say that I am not a Bluetti employee.
If you want to attract the attention of Bluetti employees, use the hashtags @BLUETTI and @BLUETTI_CARE.
I agree with you that automatic cell balancing should be integrated into the system as an option in the charging station settings. Then, after activation and connection of a load (not significant), the station should automatically discharge and charge according to a specific cycle to balance the battery cells and adjust the battery percentage display.
As a user, I believe the problem is most likely hardware-related and unlikely to be fixed with firmware.
Especially since you write that new firmware is not available. This means you have the latest version of the officially distributed software.
You can try performing a discharge cycle to zero and a full charge.
Discharge with a moderate load until the AC unit turns off.
Charge from a 230-volt network; set the settings to manual mode with a current of 1 A. This corresponds to approximately 230 watts of charging power or 4 A of current on the AC unit’s battery (approximately 0.2 C).
If at any point you need to turn on the AC unit and it doesn’t turn on with the button, try activating it by applying power to the XT-60 port, following the correct polarity (IMPORTANT!) and not exceeding 60 V (IMPORTANT!). A standard 12-volt battery is suitable for this purpose.
Hi @demian171, thank you for contacting us. We currently do not have a firmware addressing this issue. If AC charging fails, could you try charging the device via DC to activate this Premium 100 V2?
Thank you to @sealy1986 and @lavash_bluetti for your attention and assistance with this issue. Please refer to these suggestions for troubleshooting. If the issue persists, you will need to contact customer support to arrange warranty service.
That would be a pretty good idea - but since the station is sleeping off, you cannot adjust any settings - neither manually on the unit, nor in the app))) the app simply doesn’t find it))))) Today I encountered the same problem as a few days ago (in my first post here), but this time 20 min of charging from 12V in the car did not let the station wake up and continue charging from 220/230V. Gonna return to my car to sit there for an hour instead of 20 minutes to see if it helps. I am also thinking - whether I can try the same, but not from the car, but using a powerbank and a cable XT60 - Type C? Any ideas/thoughts?
You’ll start the station via the XT60 in the car, drive home, plug it into a 230V outlet, and continue charging at the STANDARD charging speed (without any load on the station’s outputs). When the charge reaches approximately 90%, connect via phone and change the charging setting to MANUAL with a current of 1A to give the station more time to balance between the cells.
Two more points. First, don’t update the firmware yet. The latest firmware (according to forum reviews) doesn’t allow the station to be “wake up” via the XT60.
Second, if the station is left outdoors for a long time and the battery cools down, the station may not turn on due to the low temperature.
It doesn’t start via XT60 in the car running idle with its engine on. I sat in the car for 20 minutes and then another 45 minutes)))) Then I took the station home and plugged it to 230V - no response(((( I really hoped it can merely accumulate some voltage so that it can start with 230V, like previous time, but this time it didn’t help(((( totally lost and confused about what to do next given the urgent situation with electricity in Ukraine(
I just wonder - based on the experience of others - if the station does not turn on, and I try to charge it via XT60 from the car 12 V - how much did it take for the station to light on by pressing the POWER button? I am ready to see it is 0%, but I wanna see this damn blue display))))
dear @BLUETTI_CARE and @BLUETTI, can you please check if my station has this “problem” firmware that might prevent it from charging via XT60? If yes, can you please somehow back up it to the normal version?
Several other methods were described on the forum that helped turn it on.
However, this is a temporary solution; sooner or later, the station would go back to sleep and not turn on.
If you want to wake it up, try one more method.
Unplug the power cord from the station, plug it into a power outlet, and then try connecting the power cord to the station.
Repeat this process several times. If it doesn’t turn on after 20-30 attempts, don’t worry; contact your service representative under warranty.
I don’t want to look hopelessly stupid)) but can you please tell me what power outlet I can use to plug the cord into? I guess we’re talking about this piece of cord to be unplugged from the station and then plugged into any other power outlet, right?
Disconnect the power cord from the station.
Plug the power cord into a 230V outlet.
Then plug the other end of the power cord into the station.
If the station doesn’t turn on, disconnect the power cord from the station (don’t remove the power cord from the outlet!) and try connecting it again, repeating this process several times.
If it doesn’t turn on after 30 attempts, don’t worry.
@lavash_bluetti I noticed that the power cable that came with the Elite 100 v2 inserts very easily, with virtually no effort. I used the cable from the Elite 30 v2, and it’s much tighter.
I have a second AC180 station, and it feels like the cable is more securely connected.
While using the Elite 100V2, I touched the connector a couple of times while charging to check if it was heating up due to a weaker connection, but I didn’t feel anything.
This is a method described by one user for “waking up” the Elite 100v2 station.
Hi @batlena, we don’t think rolling back to an older firmware version will help.
For the issue you’re encountering, we recommend placing your Premium 100 V2 in a warm indoor environment first. If possible, you can charge it via AC and DC simultaneously—this might resolve the problem. Would it help to try a different DC charging cable?
If the issue still persists, you will need to contact the seller to arrange warranty service.
