I have a digital billboard on the back of my truck that I power with a 1500-watt modified sine power inverter and an AC180 Bluetti. I am wanting to see if first, I can charge the Bluetti with the power inverter, and second is it possible to charge the Bluettie and have the sign run off it at the same time?
Bluetti support has told me that it is possible to charge off the inverter, but I cannot get it to charge continuously. It will click on to charge, do that several times, and then quit charging. Sure can use some help.
Is you power inverter a good pure sine wave? If it’s modified sine wave, the Bluetti will shut down charging to protect itself. :)
You cannot charge off of a modified sine wave inverter like you have. If a full sine wave inverter is used you can charge and output at the same time.
