Great! I will have a look into this :fire: Thanks for sharing

Will the Apex 300 replace the AC300 or will the two exist besides each other?
I like how the designer of the Apex 300 took a good look at the B300K battery for inspiration.

@TheQuickFox Thank you for your interest in the APEX300! The product positioning of the two is different, and it should be emphasized that the APEX300 supports a single split-phase mode, which does 120/240V on its own.
What they have in common is that the standard expansion battery is B300K.

Nice. The APEX300 seems to be a nice space saving design in comparison to the AC300 because the main unit also contains a large battery. Especially when you consider that the B300K battery also is more compact than the B300 that originally was paired with the AC300.

I hope the UPS functionality has been improved as well. Most wanted here is that the internal electronics should also run from grid power to prevent continuous charge/discharge cycles that you get when all internal electronics run off battery power. Also, the internal power consumption of the AC300 is quite high, I’m quite confident that the new design will do better.

Still, I’m happy that the AC300 stays in production. Even with the UPS shortcomings I’m happy with this system and I personally prefer a system where the battery is separate from the power station so they can be replaced independently of each other in case that would ever be needed. And space is not too much an issue for me so I’m quite happy with my AC300 “Tower of Power”. :stuck_out_tongue:

I was waiting for an upgrade to the AC300/500 with solar input VOC 12-300 VDC or even 500 VDC. Instead 12-60V. Deal breaker…

What’s the deal with the huge downgrade in PV input? Any comments or clarification?

Some Units are meant to use Seriel PV Connections and some parallel. Does the metioned unit have a high amp input maybe?

Up to 30 KW of solar input !!

Finally 90 degree cables:

so…
apex 300 2400w x3 = 7200w
b300s 500w x18 = 9000w
=16,200w total.
Leaving 13800w not accounted for in the info we know so far.
13800w /3 = 460000w
so is there a 4600w “charging station” mppt add on? in the works they haven’t told us details on yet? hopefully it’s higher than 60v like the rest of the system.

Agree, 60V even with 20A would be kinda disappointed
