Hi all, I am looking at the AC240 to be used as a stand alone UPS for some of my equipment (inc NAS/PC and Audio equipment)
What I want to do is, have all the equipment connected to the AC240 and if there is a power outage then have this kick in to protect/keep power on and then charge when power is back.
If I was to get 5 odd years out of it, I’d be happy. Better than the APC UPS I currently use
What do you mean? If the surge is too high, the unit will turn off and when the grid frequence is too low it will adjust itself in the grid adaption mode. Connected devices still will get clean voltage and frequence
I am talking about overvoltage coming from the electrical network mainly during electrical fluctuations. If an overvoltage occurs, will the Bluetti be protected as well as the devices that will be connected to the Bluetti?
If the grid does have overvoltage, it wil be detect by AC240 and show a error. The devices connected to AC240 will receive a steady and realiable Voltage and current, no matter the grid. The Input Voltage range can be also increased by turn on “Grid adaption mode”. The unit make grid which is unstable to a stable grid at the AC240 output
