Bluetti 500 won't charge anything

I have two AC500 and two 300. They are both showing fully charged, but I can’t get any ac output. Anyone know anything about that?

@cyn791 Please try the following troubleshooting according to.

  1. What devices are you carrying? Make sure the frequency is the same as AC500.
  2. Is the firmware updated to the latest? Is there any error code?
  3. AC output voltage is normal or not? Or use a multimeter to measure the AC output voltage is normal.

I am only trying to charge an electric mower and a 40 volt battery. Both items charged fine last month when the unit was first installed. I updated the firmware 3 weeks ago, and it solved the temperature anamoly error. When I check version, it shows there is an IOT update available, but when I try to update it, it fails. Bluetti/Ebay wants me to pack and ship the unit back but I do not have the physical strength to do that and would have to hire someone. Additionally, this unit is LESS than 60 days old.

Hi @cyn791

in addition to Bluettis comment, you could try to clear the Bluetti App cache and try the update again, be sure to connect via Bluetooth to the unit.

IOT is mostly for support new features in the App, like Bluetooth encryption and shouldnt be effect the AC Output.

When you click on “AC ON”, does the AC500 or AC300 make a one time “click” sound? If yes, there should be power, if not there is something not right.

Beside trying to turn it on from the touchscreen, did you also try to toggle the AC via Bluetti App? Is there any difference?

greetings
Erik

I don’t know what I did, but it’s working again

Good to hear! Enjoy your AC300, AC500
