Would like to be able to require a pairing process for my Elite 100 v2 involving either entering a pairing key shown on the display or pushing a button on the power station to accept pairing request. Currently anything within range can access the power station when Bluetooth is enabled which is too permissive.
Hi, in the app you can set a password for Bluetooth so nobody else can connect to it.
I’ve read previously there is a bluetooth connection password option in settings however it does not appear for me. If it makes a difference I’m only using offline mode. The power station is not connected to the Internet.
Hi solarsnail, I don’t have an Elite 100 quite yet. What does your settings page look like? On my Elite 10’s and Elite 30’s settings pages the Bluetooth connection password is the 3rd or 4th option .
Thanks, here are my settings. App version is 3.0.2. My Elite 30 v2 has the same options as well without the Bluetooth password setting.
Hi, my app version is 3.0.4, have you checked for app updates? It looks like you are missing a whole section above ‘working mode’. That is the section the Bluetooth setting is in.
Thanks for your help. It is latest version available. There could be differences between iPhone and Android versions. I’m aware of a number of screens in the app only available via sign-in / Internet. Guessing this unfortunately is one of them.
I’m using the Android version. I get the correct screens even on Bluettis with no wifi capability. My wifi capable Bluettis rarely get connected to wifi as I have to manually change the connection on my mifi to 2.4 , but it hasn’t affected the screens in the app.
I hope @BLUETTI_CARE will be able to get to the bottom of this for you.
Hi @solarsnail, under normal circumstances, the Bluetooth Connection Password can be set in the Settings interface. Could you please confirm that you have registered and logged in?
Could you also provide us with the SN code of your Elite 200 V2 and the firmware version shown in the interface? We will further investigate the issue.
Thank you to @Tezzabee for the care and explanation.
Thanks for your help. This power station is not Internet connected, no registration / login. App access by Bluetooth “offline mode” in the app.

Hi @solarsnail, thank you for getting back to us so quickly.
We recommend you register first and log in via Bluetooth. This will grant you the necessary permissions to set a Bluetooth password.
The reason I went with Bluetti was the ability to manage without Internet. Didn’t anticipate access would be open to all within range unless you registered. I would like to request support for bluetooth pairing process so that access can be limited.
You have to log into the Bluetti app, bind the device to your account, and then you can set Bluetooth Password and disable/enable visitor access. You can skip the wifi setup and just use local bluetooth BUT you cannot use the “offline mode” version of the Bluetti app and gain access to Bluetooth password, it has to be done through sign in and binding the device to the account first. If anyone was allowed to anonymously bind a device, it circumvents the whole point of security. The sign-in (authorization phase) IS the way to secure that, so the device belongs to you.
Lastly, you only need to perform the binding and pairing process one time as the over the air update is transmitted to the local device, so you don’t need to constantly remain “logged in” to the Bluetti app for privacy reasons. Connect once, bind once, log off, then use “offline mode” and it will still prompt you for the password. Use a burner or non-sensitive email address if you wish.
