Best portable power station - Need recommendations

Hi everyone,
I been facing issue from last few weeks with power cuts and also planning few short camping trips so I’m searching for a reliable portable power station that can handle both outdoor and home use.I read many reviews online, scrolled blogs and tech sites like and even few good threads. Most people recommend two main ones again and again.
BLUETTI AC2A Portable Power Station with 200W Solar Panel Included
BLUETTI AC200L Portable Power Station, 2048Wh LiFePO4 Battery Backup

Seems more heavy duty, people say it can run fridge and tools also for some hours.
Now I’m kind of stuck which one to go with both have tons of reviews and features are amazing but price difference confuse me.
Has anyone here used any of these two? Which one you think is better in real life use, specially for someone who need both home and travel backup?
Thanks in advance for any advice, really appreciate your help.

As a Bluetti AC2A owner, I would say it’s a good unit for weekend camping to run lights, charge smartphones and drones, tablets and laptops, etc. I would not expect to run a small 10 quarts portable fridge for more than a few hours depending on the model of the fridge, the temperature of the fridge, the external temperature, what you put inside it, etc. There’s entire threads about running portable fridges on portable power stations on the internet, it can get complex really quickly.

If you’re thinking of going on bike rides, hiking or something similar, maybe the Handsfree 1 or Handsfree 2 with their own custom backpacks would be better suited for your needs. I know you can get the Handsfree 1 power station separately without the backpack if you don’t need it.

For the home, especially for something like a fridge, I would strongly recommend going with the AC200L instead of the AC2A. It’s ten times the capacity, but compare both the size and weight of each unit and what you’re planning to do. Maybe the AC200L is just too heavy, maybe it’s at the limits of what you can comfortably carry, etc.

There’s plenty of other models in-between, however. You may be better served by the AC180, the Elite 30 v2, the Elite 100 v2 or the Elite 200 v2.

Hi @NovaSoul, I see you’re still having trouble inserting the links correctly, I’ll help you with that.

As for your question about the two products, we don’t know what you need. The AC200L has a capacity of 2,000 Wh, but the AC2A only has 200 Wh! The price difference is also almost 10:1.

I really can’t imagine that you actually want to choose between the two products and have no idea what you need. I suspect you’re just interested in getting lots of clicks on your strange familypicker links again.
