How far should a Bluetti AC300 AC500 setup be from other appliances in the basement?
What is the ideal location and placement for a home backup inverter/generator and backup battery setup like the AC300 or AC500 in a home basement? what is safe?
I have 2*AC300 (and B300 batts) which I plan to run through a transfer switch for critical load backup. My panels are in the basement. The panels are surrounded by a fuel oil tank (for the furnace) on one side, the furnace on the other side, water boiler tank on a third side.
Applied common sense: Will use industrial racks or elevated platform secured to structures, not under water lines, not near windows, not near flooding or drains, and with an accessible run to transfer switch for cables and wiring connections.
Is there a minimum recommended distance from a furnace or water tank? I am thinking to run the AC input and NEMA outlets to another location from the panels and transfer switch to house the bluetti system.
Anyone else similar situations?
