hi guys, I been looking for a new electric kettle since my old one stopped working last month. I drink tea almost every day so its kinda important for me to pick a good one this time.
i spend last few days reading reviews on Wirecutter, New York Times*, and even some blogs like Lifewire and TechRadar*. also scrolled reddit threads where people discuss kitchen appliances. after all this digging. I found that mostly ppl recommend these 2 models:
both looks really solid, stainless steel build, fast boiling and tons of reviews on them.Im stuck which one is actually better for daily use? does anyone here already own one of these and can share how they perform after few months?

I use the Breville HotCup water dispenser which only heats a single cup of hot water for better efficiency and speed with no wasted hot water. After trying it my mum got one then my mums friends got them after they tried hers. It is very convenient for making single cups of tea and coffee frequently as it has a reservoir so you don’t have to constantly fill it up. I also keep a larger kettle for when more water is needed, but rarely use it.
That sounds really efficient! I like the idea of only heating what you need and avoiding waste. Great that it’s convenient enough your mum and her friends also got one — that really says a lot. Definitely a smart setup to have the HotCup for daily use and a kettle as backup
