Best BLUETTI Apex 300 Portable Power Actually Worth Buying?

Hi everyone
I am dealing with frequent power issues and also need something reliable for short trips and backup at home. Because of that I’ve been struggling for the last few weeks to find the right portable power station. There are so many options and most reviews say different things, so it gets confusing fast. I read reviews on big sites like and also scrolled through many Reddit threads and small blogs. After checking specs, real user comments, and long-term usage stories, I noticed most people keep recommending BLUETTI products, especially when it comes to battery life and safety.
BLUETTI Elite 10 Mini Portable Power Station, 128Wh LiFePO4 Battery with
BLUETTI B300K with P090D-P150D, 2764.8Wh LiFePO4
BLUETTI Apex 300 Portable Power Station (2025 New) with Hub
From what I understand, the B300K setup looks very solid for home backup and longer outages, while the Apex 300 seems newer and more flexible, maybe better if someone wants future expansion and smarter features. Specs on paper are great for both, but real world experience matters more to me.I am not here to promote anything, just need genuine suggestions from the community, specially from people who actually used BLUETTI power stations or similar ones.
Both have tons of reviews and features look amazing, that’s why I’m confused now. I really need your help to decide which one is better to go with for long term use.

B300K is not a “setup”. It’s just a battery that connects to one of the Bluetti power stations via a proprietary cable. It has no inverter. It’s not designed for standalone use.
However, Apex 300 is.

B300K isn’t really a “setup” on its own. It’s just an expansion battery that connects to a Bluetti power station using a proprietary cable. There’s no inverter built into it, so it’s not meant to be used standalone.
The Apex 300, on the other hand, is a complete unit. It has its own inverter and is designed for standalone use, which makes it a very different product despite the similar naming.

So you’re asking, should you buy a power station or an expansion battery?
We don’t know what power station you own, or do you even own one, so it’s impossible to advise you smth specific.
I can just share my experience using B300K with AC200PL for over 3 months of daily use. Zero issues so far, 93.5% efficiency with 1250W of constant load.
Apex is good too, from the looks of it. In the EU version, it has 16 amps per outlet (3680W), so realistically, you don’t even need a Hub A1 for a single unit. But it still has this issue. :man_shrugging:

Is this a bot or smth? :joy:

I have the Apex 300 + B300K kit. I live in Ukraine and the power supply here is very low right now. I’m happy with the functionality of this kit. I purchased them separately.

So far, I’ve been really happy with how the setup performs. It’s been reliable during outages and handles daily needs without any issues. The flexibility of adding the battery later worked out well for me, especially since I couldn’t buy everything at once.
No system is perfect, but given the current conditions here, this setup has been doing exactly what I need it to do.
