Best Battery Operated Drill For Home Use Which One Better?

hi guys, i been looking to buy a good cordless drill since my old one finally gave up. i been doing lot of reading last few days, checked reviews on places like Wirecutter, New York Times, Lifewire and also scroll through few diy forums. seems like most ppl recommend sticking to the popular brands instead of cheap unknown ones.
after lot of scrolling i see these 2 models pop up again n again:

*DEWALT 20V MAX Cordless Drill and Impact Driver
[www.amazon.com/DEWALT-DCK240C2-Lithium-Driver-Impact/dp/B00IJ0ALYS]
AVID POWER 20V MAX Lithium Ion Cordless Drill Set
[www.amazon.com/Cordless-Variable-Position-Masterworks-MW316/dp]

both looks solid, but i can’t decide which one will be better for long term use specially for home projects like fixing shelves, furniture work, and sometimes heavier drilling in wood/metal.
some say DEWALT is more durable, others say AVID POWER is more budget friendly but still does the job well. honestly i’m confused now after reading so much.
both have tons of reviews and features are amazing but i just need your help to decide which one is worth it. thanks in advance

Of the two, I prefer DeWalt because I have other DeWalt power tools. But my battery drill is Craftsman from Sears. Kmart also sells them. I bought new li-ion packs at eBay, and I changed the cells of a pair of older packs for new Li-Ion cells (each pack holds five 3.7 V cells for 20 V at full charge) and all work well. The charger is intelligent, indicating with LEDs if the battery is charging, floating, or bad.

And if the trigger goes bad, you can buy a replacemrnt at eBay. Craftsman may not be the best. But I can fix it when it failes.

Always consider cost of repairs or replacements when choosing any power tool. That is why I never recommend any of the foreign brands, which may be cheaper, but if it fails, you must toss it away.
