B80 charger

I just purchased the B80 expansion battery- all good so far apart from the fact there is no charger in the box and the price of the charger is incredibly expensive.

The B80 is paired as an expansion battery with the AC60. It is the only power station that will charge it via AC input. It uses the expansion cable to connect the B80 to AC60. When the AC60 is charged from AC it also feeds the B80 charge.

Your only other option is to use the DC input port (solar input) with an appropriate solar panel or other DC input source within the DC input limits.

I have now bought the T200s, like I said very expensive, but thanks for your reply.

You can top off the B80 battery from the AC60 if you wall charge it. If you are going to be on the grid anyway, wall charging over AC is faster making the T200s obsolete. The only reason why it would provide any value is if your vehicle has an outlet that supports the 200W charging brick, so you can charge at 200W instead of 100W from cigarette lighter. What method do you plan to recharge the B80 and AC60?

@sealy1986 “battery10” Doesn’t say what power station is owned, if any. i.e. I have the AC70 & AC180 and the B80 will act as a power bank to them, but can not be charged by them, hence the T200 option.

I’ve got the eb3a with120w solar, bought the b80 to boost the capacity but wasn’t budgeting for needing to buy the aviation cable to link the two or the mains plug to charge from the grid.

Ah good catch! This is exactly why you should never assume stuff.
