B500 Battery Software Update - BCU Issue

So my system of EP760 and two B500 batteries wouldn’t charge from grid. I’ve been told that I need to make sure my system is 100% up to date with the software updates, and that the latest versions are installed. I was able to install almost all updates using the Bluetti App, except for the BCU part (v1025.10 → v1025.25 doesn’t install over Bluetooth). The progress gets to 33% and fails, returns an error (Error Code 23, Error Description: Unknown).

How do I finish the update installation? Is there any other way to do it other than Bluetooth perhaps?

I always have problems updating the B500 (with EP600).
My solution is to completely shut down the system before (!) updating each individual B500.

  1. switch off with the app
  2. switch off the green button on the battery
  3. switch off the power to EPxxx (disconnect power, remove fuse, etc.)

Wait some minutes then start in reverse order and then update one battery. Before updating the next B500, shut down completely again.
