Is there any possibility to measure the voltage of a B300S (with probes)?
.
The contacts of the socket are not active until the cable is plugged in
AND locked with the slider, right?
I assume by pushing the slider forward some of the tiny jacks get contact
and thus, will enable the current flow.
To measure the B300/B300S voltage you could connect it to its AC300/500, power the system on and probe the two pins of the unused connector on the battery side.
Please note that output voltage is after the BMS shunt, diodes and the on/off MOS, so it is not exactly the battery voltage, which is about 1 V higher at rest.
.
Without opening the battery, which is not recommended, a way to better asses total battery voltage is to sum up the cell voltages in: Home → Data → Battery Information → Tap 5 times the upper left battery icon
But that means only one battery at a time must be connected. All others must be plugged off. Yes?
A bit troublesome when I will test all batteries because the cables are not long enough and I would have to change the position of the more distant batteries.
.
? Really?
I tried but nothing happened. Shown is only the SOC value.
(I have the AC500.)
If you want to measure the voltage of the battery pack, you will need to measure the voltage of the battery connection port.
