Auto shutdown when the unit is discharged

I have just purchased the AC180 which will arrive next week. Just a quick question please,
Does the Ac180 automatically shut down when nearly fully discharged as I have to leave it charging my RV batteries in a remote location and do not want to damage the news unit as I can’t get back to it for a couple of days
Thanks for any advice

Hi @claretcass, Thank you for choosing Bluetti.
Yes, the AC180 will automatically shut down after a complete discharge. To conserve power, we recommend turning it off when not in use. Before shutting it down, ensure it still has around 50% charge remaining.

We do recommend that customers charge the power station after receiving it. This is because, during long sea shipments and storage in warehouses, the power station will gradually discharge. Irregular periodic charging can lead to over-discharged.
If not used for more than 3 months, charge the unit to 40%-60% SoC and store it with the power off. For optimum battery life, discharge and charge the unit every 3 months.

Hi @claretcass welcome to the forum. The AC180 will shut down when it’s fully discharged but only when you have drained the battery to 0% but it’s not advisable to leave it in that state best to get it charged as soon as possible I’m is you said it’s in your rv and in a remote location how remote? I use a smart plug on all my AC180 and set to schedule for charging.

Thank you very much for the advice. I have managed to get hold of a Copy of the user manual for the AC180 and had a chance to read it says that if the AC 180 is fully discharged for any reason then make sure that you recharge it within 48 hours from zero which is exactly what you said.
Once the unit is delivered and I can plug it into my RV and see what it’s actually inputting to my engine and leisure battery then I’ll be able to Calculate and see how many hours before A full discharge, if I then plug in to the AC connection on the AC 180 a timer plug I can make sure that it stops the power to the batteries after 2, 3 or 4 hours, which will then prevent a full discharge.
Once the units delivered, and I can fully understand how the Eco mode works. Hopefully I can use that as well for the 2, 3 or 4 hour shut off, which, as far as I can read without the unit to try it out, which is an added safeguard. I should then be able to collect the unit from my RV and recharge it without having reached a full discharge.

Thanks very much for your advice, I understand it much better now…-
