I found 4 200 watt solar panels that will almost work perfect with the APEX 300. I have figured for cold temps down to -30*F. I get 56.2 V and 22.7 A… had hard is the extra 3 amps on the mppt controller in the Apex 300. That’s the most amps it should see and hopefully not very often. Thanks ahead for all help.
The Apex 300 will just ignore anything over the rated amps. It’s the Voc you need to worry about. I use this chart to adjust for cold temps, in case anyone is interested:
