Hi - new to the group. Am looking to buy an Apex 300/Solar setup (Italy) for a large RV/Motorhome that is normally connected to the grid by external 230V going to a distribution panel in the RV. Plan is to a) run from solar/battery (4Kw solar input) as much as possible while charging from mains when necessary. Also of course to run off grid when mobile /camping. I was looking at installing a manual transfer switch to allow either mains or Apex 300 to power the distribution box with AC circuit breakers for power and lighting, but am concerned about the possibility of having a ground loop when AC is plugged in, as the Apex 300 uses a floating Neutral/Earth. How can I safely have a single switch between off/grid (no physical grounding and just using the double insulated floating earth) and having the AC mains connected with regular earth?

Hello,
If you need to ground the machine, please refer to the FAQ section on “How to Ground the Machine” for specific instructions. You can also purchase a neutral grounding plug and insert it into the Apex 300’s output socket. Here is the purchase link: [Neutral Grounding Plug] (this is for U.S. standards).
