Apex 300 P050A port 2 way flow?

Hi, I have a new apex 300 and looking at the best way to charge it and to provide power to my house panel. I know it will charge through this port ( P050A)and I believe it can provide power to the house panel as well? I have a generator that is wired to my panel and I thought I would plug the apex to my compressor plug (240volt) to charge. Then when the generator is off I can feed the house panel through the same compressor plug. Would really appreciate any feedback.
Thanks Chris

Your idea is indeed feasible: you can connect the generator output to the P050A and the AP300 output to the compressor.
However, I would like to remind you that the P050A is primarily used for connecting to the fast charging cable. Charging can also be done through the Y-shaped input port, so connecting to the P050A is not strictly necessary.
If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to reach out.

Подскажите пожалуйста мне по кабелю R050A

Chrisb - Did you ever get this sorted out?
Live in USA- PNW - Looking to buy Apex 300 and trying to understand option to connect Apex 300 to my 240 VAC Distribution panel (DP) and a generator at the same time. Will be installing a Generator disconnect setup to be powered to DP via a generator from an outside 50AMP Gen Inlet.
Trying to determine how do you connect Apex 50amp PO50A port and charging cable to the DP Gen breaker inlet. Can just add a 50AMp Receptacle for the Apex 300 to the line from the DP to the outside generator inlet?

I am still a little unclear by this. From what I understand, this has a pass-through option where you could have the pass-through plug into a power supply that can receive and transmit. I was hoping that the way I wired it to my panel that I could just leave the plug in charge it when my generator is going, and then when my generator shuts off, it will just reverse power into the panel. Not sure if this makes sense?

Found this incredibly useful video with good discussion of various options.

I think you want the HubA1 kit, with fast charge cable, and a home integration kit (or simple dedicated panel). You can connect 1, 2, or 3 Apex300 to the HubA1 using the dual direction port and the 1, 2, or 3 cables that are sold with the kit (fast charge cord extra).

What it leaves out is the option of adding an Interlock kit (utility power only/off/generator power only) on the main panel. Generator feeds the main panel, Ampex fed from main panel, Ampex feeds disicated circuits in home integration kit. The AT1 kit is a lot more $$.
