Apex 300 Not Charging Above 4 Amps From Cybertruck Outlets

Hi!

I’ve adjusted the charging selection from “silent” to “standard” and “turbo.” I’ve enabled grid adaptability and in the advanced settings I have adjusted all of the parameters to their maximum tolerances. I’ve downloaded and installed the newest firmware.

Yet any amperage above 4 amps causes my Apex 300 to quit charging. The main error I’ve seen is “117e,” grid oscillation.

I emailed Bluetti tech support and they say that I need to wait for a future firmware update that MIGHT address this issue.

Is there anything that might be attempted other than just waiting and hoping that a future firmware update MIGHT address this? Has anyone used an isolation transformer or some type of AC-rectifier in this or a similar situation?

The Cybertruck has both 120 and 240 volt outlets. I’ve ordered a 120 volt isolation transformer to see if it works for the 120 volt outlets, and while that result will be interesting to know, what I really need is for the Cybertruck’s 240 volt 50 amp outlet to charge my Apex 300s and B300Ks through a Bluetti Hub A-1. But at anything above 4 amps the Apex 300 quits with error 117e.

Any suggestions?

Any updates on this ? i have cybertruck and I’m wondering about the same. my apex300/b300k batteries arriving next week.

Still nothing above 4 amps charge from the Cybertruck to the Apex300. But I just ordered the OEM Tesla Power Adapter and look forward to test charging the Apex300 hopefully at a full 15 amps.

Bluetti support punted by suggesting that a future firmware update would resolve the issue. I’ve seen 3 firmware updates but the issue is not resolved.

Maybe if enough of us reach out to Bluetti support about this issue they will address it?
