Apex 300: How to achieve 50A Bypass

Hi Bluetti Team and Community,

I have a technical question regarding the Apex 300 and its 12kW (50A) bypass capability.

I want to connect the station to my home grid (50A main breaker) and my high-power loads (like an electric stove) to utilize the full bypass potential.

My current setup/equipment:

  • I have the “Bluetti cable for connecting APEX300 to Hub A1 UA”.
  • This cable has two P050A connectors (one for the station, one intended for the Hub).

My questions:

  1. If I plug one P050A into the station’s Port #1, where do I get the 50A Output from?
  2. Can I use/modify the Hub A1 cable to act as a “Hardwire” cable (Input 50A and Output 50A) for my home distribution panel?
  3. Is there an official wiring diagram or a specific “Hardwire” cable (P050A to open wires) available for purchase that supports both Input and Output on the same port?

I want to avoid using the standard 16A/20A AC outlets for heavy loads since they cannot handle the 50A bypass current.

Looking forward to your guidance or a pinout diagram for the P050A port.

P.S. I have EU version of APEX 300 with magic button (not 120/240 switch)

I’m US based so the info I have is based on this. 1st in order to obtain 50-amp, I need 3 Apex300’s (each is approx. 16-amps). This is the general wiring diagram that includes a transfer switch. No special cables required for the Bluetti connections. (hopefully picture posts)

Hi RKLindner,
Thanks for the response, but I’m a bit confused. BLUETTI advertises the Apex 300 as having “industry-first 12kW bypass” through the P050A port. This should be ~50A at 240V from a SINGLE unit, not three. The 16A limitation you mentioned applies to the AC Outlets (#13), not the P050A bypass port (#1).
My specific questions remain:

  1. What cable do I need? The US Home Integration Kit includes a “NEMA 14-50 to P050A” cable. But I have the EU version — there’s no equivalent kit for 230V single-phase.
  2. Can I use the Hub A1 cable for charging? I already have this cable. If I cut the non-P050A end and hardwire it to my panel (L, N, PE), will the Apex accept 230V input through P050A for fast charging?
  3. P050A pinout? Does anyone know which pins are L1, L2, N, Ground? This would help EU users create DIY solutions.

Thanks!
