AFE Problem with B300K

Hello there,
i purchased a new AC500 und 3x B300K
except 1 B300K all is working perfect!

with the one B300K i have the following problem, regardless if it is connected to the whole system, or just unplugged from anything else.
When i turn it on, after a few seconds the 20% light 40% light and the 80 light is blinking green, then it turns off after some time.
in the documentatition it says this is the code for “AFE-Failure”

What does it mean, and what can i do?
It doesnt even keeps alive long enough to make a firmware update i guess

I did spend a few thousand euros and im a bit frustrated.
I really hope you can help me.
kind regards
Marcell

Hi @finnifinn, The information you provided is very detailed. We believe that the issue with this B300K cannot be resolved remotely and requires warranty service to be arranged.

Hi there,

i have some additional informations.
i tried this B300k with my old AC200MAX and it works without problems.
i charged it to 100%

then i connected it again with my AC500 and the problem starts again, but the lights are blinking 20 60 and 80%, perhaps i was wrong in the first place.
This signal stands for the error: Battery cell disconnected.
This B300K dont want to work with my AC500
with the 2 other B300k the AC500 works perfect.
But when i connect the third, or even when i only connect the one with problems the problem starts.
For a second it gives me the error 103 BMS Communication Failure with cable, but this error is gone after a half second, then error 98 and 99 remain and the device will go out.

In the Bluetti APP it brings me the error:
A039 and A040

but why does it work on the AC200Max?

i updated the AC500 to the latest firmwares.
Please help me :-/
Thanks in advance

kind regards
Marcell

Hi @finnifinn, We’re more than happy to assist you.
It seems that this B300K unit itself may not be faulty—we consider the issue might be related to the connection cable between it and the AC500.
Could you try using a different B300K connection cable to test this unit?

Additionally, if possible, please record a video showing the indicator light blinking, upload it to a cloud drive, and share the link with us. That would be very helpful.

Also, could you please provide the SN code of the AC500 and the BMS firmware versions of all connected batteries?

Hi @finnifinn, We still haven’t gotten your answer. We wonder if this problem is resolved.
Our engineers are very concerned about the issue you encountered. They believe that this B300K does have a hardware fault and needs to be returned. Could you please contact us via private message and provide the order information so that we can arrange after-sales service for you?
Please feel free to contact us if you need more help.
