Advise regarding connecting a generator to power unit

I have recently purchased an AC200L Power Unit & B300K Battery (& 350 watt Solar kit). I’m very positive that this set up will be quite adequate for my electricity needs as long as i can recharge. The last 5 days, here in Southern England, have been heavily overcast, and this is a reminder of what we can expect, on a frequent basis, till next summer. My only answer is to buy a generator.
Therefor if the power unit is 2400 watts will a 3500 watt (Champion Invertor Generator) be acceptable. Or does the B300K Battery affect the size of the gennie that i need?
I don’t have a clue! So could some kind person advise me?
Yours sincerely. Andy.

The charge rate is not the same as the capacity of the AC200L. Your manual shows 800W in silent mode, 1200W in standard and 2400W in turbo. These are the input values that a genny would provide. Turbo mode should be used sparingly and only when you need to charge quickly. Therefore Silent or Standard would be my choice and a 2,000W generator would be sufficient.
The key is to get a good quality Pure Sine Wave (PSW) inverter generator. Be aware of online cheapies sold as PSW, they may not provide clean power and can destroy the electronics of the 200L or not work at all.

Thank you kindly Mike H.
Just to be 100% sure though… the B300K additional battery won’t affect the power requirements needed by a generator, I’m presuming? If using Standard mode then I’m understanding that the max recharging will remain at 1200W, irrespective of the battery being connected and charging at the same time?
Again, thank you, and all, for your help here.
Andy.
