AC70P solar panel compatibility

Hi everyone

I recently purchased a Bluetti AC70P unit and am looking at getting a solar panel to connect to it.

I see it’s limited to

Solar Input:
500W Max,12V-58VDC, 10A

I’ve read on your forums the 10A limit isn’t so much a problem as the VDC limit.

I’m looking at using this panel:

Would this work okay?

If so could I even use a panel like this one?

Thank you for your expertise and help

The panel you quote is within the AC70P spec range. Just be aware that the Voc is at its tested ambient temp of 25C. The temp coefficient is 0.24V per degree C which will increase Voc by 6V at 0C = 58.2V.
So, if you are in a sub zero winter area, be mindful of using this panel lest damage to the Bluetti.

Hi Mandp

Thank you. I think I need not worry as I’m in New Zealand and it’s not often that cold!
