I would be too scared to try this, even if the AC60 is IP65 rated. I would worry about sand and salt getting into the air inlet and prevent the fan from turning well. But the fan (and the entire unit) SHOULD be designed for this.

I read it’s IP65, what do you think of the enclosure’s ventilation system? Does it look dirt/sand proof?
