AC50B solar panel charging - series or parallel?

I am converting a mini-van into a day camper and I recently bought a Bluetti AC50B as my primary power source to operate a fridge and diesel heater mainly.

I have also bought two solar panels that I am going to mount on the roof of the camper (120W each, open circuit voltage 24.5V, 240W max in total).

I presume the panels need to be wired in series because the maximum input voltage of the AC50B is 28V? Wiring them in parallel will exceed the max inout voltage.

Also do I need to add an isolator switch between the panels and the Bluetti or can I plug them directly into the unit?

@MayoForSam you actually have that back to front. You need to connect in Parallel as a Series connection will double your panel voltage and will overload the AC50B. Series increases voltage, Parallel increases amps.

Duh! Yes, you’re correct, I probably would have checked with a multimeter first but good to know.
